Halo 3 is over now and microsoft has already lost 1.1 billion dollars because of sysem failures... so i want to know if microsoft will die.

i dont think microsoft will die. though they lost a LOT of money they will continue making games and regain the money back soon enough. they shouldnt die unless they have this incident repeat another time. then they may die.

They will be fine. The 360 is just a project to see if they can make more money. Even if they loose their shirt with the system, they are making tons of money with the software and of course computer software. It is all part of Bill Gates plan to take over the world. If he does not take over the world of video games, it will just slow him down as he appointed to the position as Emperor of the Universe.
Uh, no. I doubt that much of Microsoft's income comes from the XBox, and I'm sure 1.1 billion was made in sales alone yesterday (not just of Halo 3).
