- They developed their own twisted version of Java instead of just supporting the beautiful one that Sun made and standardized.

- While Firefox and Opera happily support all OSs, Microsoft has ensured that IE doesn't work a damn on a Macintosh.

- They build video codecs that only run on a certain version of Media Player that is only available on Windows (IE, not supported on Mac).

I think Microsoft has done great things for the US economy, but in their ''competition'' with Mac and others, they act like a big baby.

as for your disgust for internet explorer on the mac, I ask you this question:

'Do you really want internet explorer?It'll just give you millions of spyware anyway'
